Welcome to DLBoost MKT. By using our website or hiring us for digital marketing services, you are agreeing to the terms outlined below. We like to keep things transparent, fair, and straightforward. If you don't agree with these terms, please refrain from using our site or services.

1. What We Do

DLBoost MKT is a boutique digital marketing agency based in South West Western Australia. We help local businesses grow through website development, search engine optimization (SEO), Google Business Profile management, online review audits, paid search campaigns, and digital strategy consulting.

2. Pricing, Rates & Price Changes

  • Standard Hourly Rate: Our general agency rate for out-of-scope work, extra revisions, or custom technical support is AUD $65.00 per hour.
  • GST Policy: DLBoost MKT is not currently registered for GST. All prices displayed on our website and in written quotes or proposals are the total amount payable, with no GST added.
  • Payment Terms: One-time projects are invoiced in full. You can pay the invoice in full, or 50% to begin work and the remaining 50% before delivery. WordPress, Wix, Squarespace and Shopify website builds are paid in full before work begins. All ongoing services are billed monthly in advance.
  • Price Adjustments: We reserve the right to update our service pricing on our website or in new project quotes at any time without prior notice. For active, recurring monthly subscriptions (such as ongoing SEO or maintenance packages), we will provide you with at least 30 days' written notice via email before any price adjustments take effect.

3. Website Development & Client Responsibilities

To keep your web project moving on schedule, we rely on a clear collaborative process:

  • Content & Materials: You are responsible for providing necessary brand assets, images, account accesses, and written copy (in Word or Google Docs format), unless you have explicitly hired us for SEO Copywriting.
  • Review Windows & Deemed Approval: When we send you a project milestone or draft for feedback, you have 5 business days to share your edits. If we don't hear back from you within 5 business days, the deliverable will be considered approved, allowing us to move to the next phase or issue the corresponding invoice.
  • Included Revisions: Initial web design builds include up to 3 rounds of revisions during the development stage. Any major structural shifts, extra features requested after sign-off, or additional revision rounds will be quoted as a variation at our standard hourly rate ($65/hr).
  • Ongoing Maintenance: Once your initial website build is completed and delivered, any ongoing care, updates, or edits fall under our monthly website maintenance packages or are billed as standard hourly work.

4. Search Engine Visibility & SEO Disclaimer

We build our websites using solid technical SEO best practices appropriate to your chosen package tier, including meta setups, speed optimizations, mobile responsiveness, and submitting your XML sitemap to Google Search Console.

However, because search engines update their algorithms constantly and indexing speed is entirely up to third-party providers:

  • We do not guarantee specific position rankings or exact timeframes for Google indexing.
  • Achieving long-term top rankings requires consistent, ongoing SEO strategies rather than a one-time website launch.

5. Intellectual Property & File Access

  • Ownership: All original code, designs, and marketing assets created by DLBoost MKT remain our intellectual property until your invoice balance for the project is paid in full. Upon full payment, ownership of the final delivered work transfers to you.
  • Third-Party Licenses: Subscriptions, fonts, or stock media licensed under our agency accounts remain our property and will not transfer automatically if an ongoing service is canceled.

6. Australian Consumer Law & Liability

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010). Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights you hold under the ACL.

Subject to your rights under Australian law:

  • Marketing insights on our website are provided for general educational purposes. We do not guarantee specific financial returns or business growth metrics.
  • DLBoost MKT's total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the total fees you paid us for those specific services in the preceding 12 months.

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Western Australia. Any legal matters or disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.

8. Using Our Website and Forms

To interact with our content or use any form on our website, you need to accept our Privacy Policy and these Terms of Service. These include the use of cookies and tracking technologies described in Section 2 of the Privacy Policy.
